"Part of Me", the first single from the re-release of the 'Teenage Dream' album - The Dr Luke-produced track peaked earlier this month at #1 on both iTunes and Billboard's Hot 100 chart in the US giving Katy the 7th number one of her career.
"Part of Me" visual, it opens with Katy finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her, hence realizing her life needs a drastic change. Katy has no better idea than joining the US marines! Say what!?. The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer goes through painful military training, before heading to war. Scenes were filmed at USMC's Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. Hmmmm, I'm on the fence on this one. Isn't a bit boring?
