Demi, which received Favorite Breakout Artist in 2009 at the same ceremony, is now nominated in Favorite Pop Artist category along with big names like Beyonce Knowles, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa and Rihanna.
"Demi is a brilliant performer, a strong role model and a true fan favorite," Executive Producer Mark Burnett said in statement regarding the teen singer. "We're thrilled to have her on board for the 'People's Choice Awards' and look forward to a truly electrifying performance."

The prize-giving ceremony will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, on January 11th, 2012. Until then, fans can vote for their favorite personality in music, movie ot TV on the official website of PCAs (http://www.peopleschoice.com/pca/vote/). CBS is broadcasting live the People's Choice Awards starting 9:00 pm ET.

In the nominations list, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Beyonce are leading with five nods each in the music category, whilst in television "Glee" dominates with seven nods. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" grabbed seven nominations in the movies category.
